Cursive text generator
Type anything below and this cursive text generator rewrites it instantly in flowing Unicode script styles — no fonts to install, nothing to download. Copy the cursive letters it makes into bios, captions, usernames and messages, or tap single letters from the alphabet grid further down. Five styles are on offer, from the classic script hand to a bold fraktur.
The generator
Every style updates as you type, and each Copy button lifts that row’s exact result. Numbers and punctuation stay in their ordinary forms in all five styles — pure cursive alphabets simply have no fancy digits to swap in.
Cursive letters, one tap each
The full script alphabet, capitals first — handy when you need just an initial or a single styled letter for a name.

Good to know — compatibility tips
| Point | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| It is Unicode, not a font | The output is real text made of special characters, so it pastes anywhere text goes — Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, Word — with no font file involved |
| Some apps show boxes | Older devices and a few apps lack glyphs for these characters and may show squares or blanks; test on your own phone before printing wedding stationery |
| Screen readers struggle | Assistive tools may read styled text letter by letter, spell it oddly, or skip it — keep names, prices and anything important in plain text too |
| Search and sorting break | A profile named in script will not be found by typing the plain name, and databases sort these characters strangely — decoration only, never for passwords, emails or anything that must be searched |
Used with those limits in mind, generated cursive is the fastest decoration on the internet: a bio line that reads like handwriting, a caption with a signature flourish, a party heading that looks engraved. Write it here, copy it, paste it — the styling travels with the text itself.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a cursive font I need to install?
No. A font changes how ordinary letters are displayed on one device; this generator swaps your letters for different Unicode characters that merely look handwritten. That is why the result pastes into apps that have never heard of the style — the “handwriting” is inside the text itself.
Why do the numbers not change?
The Unicode script alphabets were defined for letters only — there are no script digits in the standard for these styles, so 0–9 pass through untouched. If a design needs matching numbers, the bold and fraktur rows pair best with plain digits at a slightly larger size.
Can I use cursive text in a username?
Where the platform accepts Unicode in display names, yes — it is a favourite for bios and display names. For the actual login username, think twice: you may not be able to type it back on another keyboard, and friends searching your plain name will not find the styled one.
Which style looks most like real handwriting?
The first row — Script — is modelled on formal penmanship, with the tall loops of a fountain pen. Bold script reads like a marker or brush signature; italic serif is book-print italics rather than handwriting; fraktur is blackletter calligraphy, beautiful but the least “cursive” of the five.
